Ever since the release of Silent Assassin, people have been clamoring for a Payday 2 mod that retains that level of stealth and intelligence. This is the best place to find one. Rather than giving you a list of files and instructions on how to install mods onto your (probably) custom Payday 2 copy, we've done all the work for you. You can download it here or click on "Silent Assassin Payday 2 Mod" in our guide below. It's compatible with both Steam and GOG versions, as well as all dlc's, as it only replaces the main heist files. It also comes with a fairly detailed tutorial on how to set up the mod to your specifications. Enjoy! Note: If you're looking for a Silent Assassin experience in Payday 2, use our "Play As Sniper" mod instead of this one. SI's difficulty lies in its challenge of stealth above all else, whereas SA-inspired mods intend to expand on what makes SI so unique by giving players more options and tools. This mod is no exception. The tutorial linked above goes into greater detail on the differences between the two mods. Silent Assassin Payday 2 Mod Tutorial Unzip that file into your Payday2 mods folder under the "mods" folder. If you don't have one already, download this one here. Make sure you're using Payday 2 version 1.0 and all DLC, and NOT the GOG version (which has a few bugs and is no longer updated beyond 1.0). Also, install this mod just as we've described above: it's all contained in that zip file you unzipped. Payday 2 should now load up with a stealth mission "DEFCON" as part of our default heist setup . If you don't see it, log out and log back in. How to Install Payday 2 Mods You can easily install mods by putting them inside the Overkill Software folder. The default location is Steam\\SteamApps\\common\\ PAYDAY 2 Payday 2 should now load up with a stealth mission "DEFCON" as part of our default heist setup . Since the release of the Steam version of PAYDAY, Overkill Software has stopped providing support, with the last official news being a statement released on October 31st, 2015. Given the amount of time that has passed since then and Overkill's stance on modding as a whole, we have taken it upon ourselves to keep this guide up to date as best as possible. We've also included a section with resources for those who want to continue playing Payday 2.Valve is known for its hands-off approach to most mods for their games. cfa1e77820
